About The Event
This is a multi-faceted art and music event centered around a fashion show; featuring 15 hand-sewn outfits by an emerging designer. The techno and house music by DJ Simon Mondry will provide the perfect ambiance throughout the night as will the dynamic art installation displayed onstage. Creativity, expression, threads and a beat.

Friday Crap is a reflection of Parker’s imagination and aesthetic vision, which revolves around playfulness, youthfulness, and her plan to never grow up even as she gets older. Parker juxtaposes details, images, and drawings that are reminiscent of childhood with sometimes slightly provocative mementos to capture her serious dedication to a not-so-serious life of fun, excitement, wonder, and colorful exploration. Her biggest points of inspiration when designing for Friday Crap are bunnies, anime, sex, dancing, and the endless possibilities of the dream state.--
